Hello, I’m Luke, and I founded ColorPort Books out of a deep-seated love for learning and a lifelong fascination with history and trivia. Ever since I can remember, I’ve been captivated by the stories behind facts, the thrill of discovery in each piece of trivia, and the joy of sharing that knowledge with others. My journey into the world of trivia took a competitive turn when I joined online trivia leagues, and those experiences only deepened my passion for learning and sharing.

Driven by a desire to connect with others through shared knowledge and creativity, I envisioned ColorPort Books as a sanctuary where the calming art of coloring meets the engaging world of learning.

Our first book, Airports Around the World, was inspired by my love of travel. Each airport, to me, isn’t just a place but a story, a hub of thousands of journeys and the heartbeat of adventure. By coloring these complex infrastructures, I hoped others could also find both escape and connection, and maybe even see their own stories unfold in the lines and shades.

Following the success of our first adventure, we launched Steeped in Art, reflecting my personal passion for tea and its rich, comforting presence in my life. This book was more than just about tea; it was about the moments tea creates, the history it has witnessed, and the tranquility it offers.

At ColorPort Books, we aim to create a bridge between the art of coloring and the art of storytelling, where each stroke of the pencil not only brings color to the page but also brings life to the knowledge embedded in each design. It’s a journey of discovery, of quiet moments turned into enriching experiences, and of individual stories woven into the broader tapestry of history.
